Relief from Homelessness

Rough sleeping is the most extreme and damaging form of homelessness and solving someone’s immediate need for accommodation is our highest priority.

We work in partnership with homelessness services, outreach programmes and other charitably enterprises to help address the homelessness crisis.

A bed for the night is an immediate priority, but sustainable independent living is everyone’s long-term goal.

Referral to CUS can remove the uncertainty of moving through the various stages of homelessness, from the initial referral to moving onto independent living, all accommodation and support is provided or signposted by CUS.

Our accommodation is provided with an understanding and agreement that individuals will engage with person-centred support to address their individual needs, and when we see sufficient housing readiness, we assist with securing affordable long-term housing.

The main aim of housing related support is to equip vulnerable people with the skills they need to live independently. To help them move away from a former life or lifestyle, to help them feel safe, secure, and calm, and help re-engage with society and live independently without support.
